A varied and exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional candidate to join our Academy. We teach young aspiring circus and physical theatre students to hone their skills and knowledge. This is an existing post, which requires an enthusiastic and committed individual to be responsible for all support services across both further and higher education courses and also contribute to the management of efficient administration of the Academy courses.
The post holder will be the main point of contact for students requiring support and will provide effective advice, guidance and signposting for a range of issues, relating to student finance, welfare, mental and physical health, personal problems, housing, educational support, and student progression. This may include inviting external speakers and organisations into the Academy to make presentations to groups of students and teachers to address problems and issues as needs arise.
The successful candidate will have exceptional communication and organisational skills, along with the ability to work effectively whilst dealing with multiple priorities. The ability to develop strong working relationships with a diverse range of students, partners and associated organisations is a must.
Attendance at some outreach events, including travelling to multiple sites, schools and colleges, and occasional weekend and evening work may be required to fulfil the requirements of the post.
