TAKE PART MANAGER (Maternity Cover)
CONTRACT: Initial 12 month contract commencing 1 September 2019
SALARY: £24,000-£26,000 p.a. pro rata depending on experience
At the Brewhouse Theatre & Arts Centre in Taunton we offer a broad programme across the performing arts, cinema and exhibitions and our lively Take Part programme actively encourages participation in the arts to enrich the lives of people of all ages in our community.
We now seek a highly motivated individual experienced in community or educational arts practice to lead our busy programme of participation activities whilst our Take Park Manager is on Maternity Leave.
The successful individual will have an arts degree and a track record of building innovative and productive partnerships with a variety of organisations, Responsibilities include devising and ensuring the delivery of a programme of high-quality, accessible activities that develop creativity, knowledge and technical skills whilst promoting well-being, inclusion and social mobility; being the Christmas Ensemble Coordinator for TTA’s musical production as well as managing projects, budget and fundraising for Take Part activities. Reporting to the Artistic Programmer and working closely with colleagues and the Chief Executive, the Take Part Manager also contributes to the artistic direction and business development of the Brewhouse.
The post requires excellent communication skills, a resourceful mind-set and can-do attitude, whilst the successful individual will be highly creative with the ability to facilitate sessions in their specialist arts area.
