Salary: GBP £34,000 pro rata (£20,400 0.6 FTE)
Application Deadline: May 13, 2020 9:00 am
Company: Theatre Bristol
Are you looking for a way to help build the new future of the arts?
Theatre Bristol is an organisation dedicated to supporting and improving live performance and championing independent artists. This mission has a new urgency, and we are looking for someone to be part of leading us and the sector into the unknown.
Extraordinary times call for different ways of working. The challenges our world and our sector face right now will result in huge change. We can’t yet imagine all the solutions that will be needed. But we know that artists will be at the heart of them.
We want to respond to this moment by looking for an Interim CEO who can confidently hold a space for this uncertainty. Someone who will support the organisation and its people through this time. Who will prioritise listening, building wisdom and enabling the artist leadership within Theatre Bristol and the theatre community to flourish.
We are looking for someone brave, resilient and open to trying, failing and learning.
You don’t need to be a career arts manager or hot shot producer – though if you are we won’t rule you out. We want someone experienced but adaptable, who shares our values and can think expansively and creatively about who the artists and audiences of the future might be and how best to serve them.
We are offering this role as an 18-month contract. We are open to conversations about the longer-term future of the role.
