SGS College has a highly successful Performing and Media Arts department at our WISE Campus which received a Grade 1 at our last Ofsted inspection. The department has25 members of staff and 450 students on FE and Degree courses.
We are looking to appoint an experienced technician to support both internal and external productions and events in our two theatres and other venues. Experience of Set Construction either professionally or otherwise is an advantage. You will also be involved in general maintenance of equipment and facilities.
The successful applicant will be enthusiastic and have an ability to work flexibly in a well-established team.
The department has excellent facilities including a 250 seat theatre, 80 seat studio theatre, tech theatre workshop, prop store, video editing suites, set stores, 4 dance studios, 5 rehearsal rooms and full technical facilities and support.
