Vamos Theatre is looking for a freelance Touring Technician/Tour Manager for its upcoming national tour of Finding Joy. The post runs from September – November 2018, including three international dates in Spain and Germany.
Finding Joy, our award-winning full mask show about dementia, is currently booked to tour 29 dates, alongside on-tour workshop and education activities. The Touring Technician’s principle role is to lead on all technical aspects of the show during rehearsals and on tour, including lighting, some AV and a full length soundtrack. They will also be responsible for Tour Manager duties.
The role includes working closely with venue technicians and company members. We require a highly organised person, who can work well under pressure.

We are also currently confirming dates for UK and international touring of our other show in rep, A Brave Face, which will tour between Feb – April 2019. Ideally the same Touring Technician would be able to take on these projects/contracts too.
