PERFORMER CALL OUT
One of the UK’s most inspiring independent festivals, Boomtown is a vast open-air theatrical production on a scale unrivalled in the UK festival scene. With a passion for bringing together music, art, theatre, design, and social consciousness Boomtown sets out to create a make-believe world of escapism for all ages.
Embodying an ethos to never hold back or stand still, Boomtown is an expanding company that is always on the lookout for creative thinkers and performers to be part of the team.
In a deserted industrial quadrant, scavengers pick through the remains of the fallen Bang Hai Technologies infrastructure. Drones buzz in the sky and through the haze of the dust clouds a colossal, unidentified structure begins to ascend, emitting a strange and eerie light across the broken landscape … something new is happening in AREA 404.

The brief will be to work with the Boomtown theatrical team to take on the theme of the new district and make it feel alive and populated, providing certain ‘highlight moments’ on the structure and balconies to include a show element and crowd interaction.
