I am writing from Rainbow @ Grief Encounter. We are a local Bristol charity that offers free professional therapeutic support for children, young people and their families who are suffering bereavement.
We are the only organisation in Bristol and the surrounding areas offering this specialised service and are considered a lifeline for so many in their time of crisis. We are pleased to be a preventative and much-loved part of the Bristol provision to youngsters.
I am writing to you with the hope that you would recognise the importance of our cause and consider supporting our charity.
We are seeking a compere to perform or compere at our upcoming event ‘A Night at the Mansion’ . This event is our biggest event of the year on the 17th October to be held at the prestigious Ashton Court Mansion. We have Michelin star chef Josh Eggleton cooking up as storm and star studded performances from the likes of MOBO award winner Shola Ama so it really is a fabulous opportunity to be involved and perform to many key figures of Bristol.
As we are a charity we cannot afford a huge budget but of course would be happy to pay towards your costs so please do give us details of what the costs might be.
Thanks so much for your consideration and I look forward to hearing from you.
