For theatre makers, directors, choreographers and artists interested in using digital media in their performance work.

A chance to explore, discover and discuss how digital media can be integrated into performance work through a series of interactive workshops. As part of our Autumn Strike A Light Festival we are hosting shows and companies which use digital media to interact with audiences. Join Non Zero One and Theatre Conspiracy with guest speakers to find out more.

 

Friday 12 October

3pm:  Start – arrive from 2.45pm for introductions to start promptly at 3pm (Venue: The Redwell Centre, Matson)

3pm: Workshop with Non Zero One (creators of Ground Control) on how they intergrated digital technology into their work (Venue: The Redwell Centre, Matson)

Followed by a practical session to explore more digital techniques

6.30pm: Chips and chat. Meet other artists and share ideas over dinner (Venue: Gloucester Guildhall)

7.30pm: Foreign Radical performance followed by post-show discussion with the company about how they made the show (Venue: Gloucester Guildhall)

We’ve subsidised the costs of the workshop so it is significantly cheaper than comparable ones. We’re charging a small amount to cover some costs and ensure commitment from attendees but if the cost is a barrier to anyone please do just drop us an email and we can sort a bursary place.
