At what point does conversation become altercation? How do we work through different points of view? Hear Lies Disagreement explores how we verbally engage with each other in an increasingly polarized culture.
Poet and Storyteller Leeza Awojobi is teaming up with the Creative Youth Network to invite 7 artists to showcase their opinion on the topic of verbal communication in a polarized culture. Hear Lies Disagreement will take place at the beginning of October and the exhibition will be displayed for the duration of the month.
What can I submit?
It can be video, a sculptor or a painting- the creative freedom is yours!
To apply, simply write 250 words to Leeza at firstname.lastname@example.org explaining why you would like to be involved and what piece of work you would like to contribute.
Applications for this close on Friday 6th September at 12:00 noon, and they are open to all ages.
A briefing meeting will take place on Wednesday 11th September at 5:30pm. Location TBC.
