This workshop series is about being here together and seeing what arises. It is about what we can create as a group, rooted in what we want for ourselves and for the world.
It will be shaped according to who comes and what the group wants to get out of it. Broadly it will be about being here in this moment with ourselves and with the group through movement and stillness and discussion and lots of exercises spanning Theatre of the Oppressed, Clown and Embodiment work. We will be finding our way to a shared goal, a shared purpose for this specific group and then creating whatever that may be.
~ WEEK 1: DREAMING ~
Who are we as a group? Where are we now?
What do we want to create?
It will be every Tuesday for 7 weeks from 18:00-20:00 at St. Anne’s Church Hall in Greenbank, starting June 11th – July 23rd. It is open to everyone. For those of you who’ve been to Resounding choir, it will have elements of the same, but you do not need to be a singer to come.
Buy TICKETS here: http://hdfst.uk/E54617. If you can’t come to all 7 sessions that is OK, but I ask you to come to at least 5 so yo don’t miss out too much. Wear comfortable clothes.
It costs £56 for the 7 weeks (£8 per workshop). There is a concession price of £42 also available (£6 per workshop). For this price, please email [email protected] with a short paragraph about how this would support you.
It will be held by Lucia, with some guest facilitators for some of the sessions. (More info on them soon!) Lucia has held workshops and groups exploring vulnerability, singing and embodiment for 4 years. She has also lead 3 choirs: most recently, the Easton-based Resounding. Last month she performed the show ‘Pillow; A Playful Exploration of Grief’ which she co-wrote with Bea and Vreni, the Heartbeat Collective.
