Plans for the next Wells Theatre Festival are underway and for its third consecutive year, the organisers have exciting plans to expand and develop the event which will bring another exciting season of world class professional theatre companies to Wells. The 2019 Festival entertained just under 2000 people over the course of four days and for 2020 the target is to double that number.
The organisers have plans to increase visibility and awareness of the Festival through its digital channels, marketing activity and PR in the run up to and during the Festival itself. The search is on to replace founding Board Member and volunteer Marketing Manager Lin Dickens who is relocating to Devon with her family.
Ros Johnson, Artistic Director of the Festival said: “We are all so grateful to Lin for her contribution to the Festival, she brought with her such inspiring drive and commitment. We are going to miss her energy and focus. We need to find an individual who can work with us as a member of the Wells Theatre Festival Board or a creative agency with capacity to offer pro bono support and take the lead in taking our digital marketing and out of home presence to the next level.”
