What’s your flava – writer/director workshop Friday 2nd March

Cost: FREE

Organiser: Chloe Masterton

What’s your flava?  Directors and Writers workshop in association with the JMK and Tobacco Factory Theatres.

When?             Fri 02 March 11.30am – 5pm

Where?           Factory Theatre Bar, Tobacco Factory Theatres

What?             This is a workshop designed to facilitate networking for writers and directors based in the Bristol area who might be interested in working collaboratively. It will be a playful space in which artists will pair up to experiment with new ideas without the pressure of ‘pitching’ a current idea.

What else?     There will be the chance to share our findings with Tobacco Factory Theatres Artistic Director Mike Tweddle who will also lead a discussion on his experiences of effective collaboration.

It would also be lovely if those attending the workshop would like to come to see the evening performance of Macbeth.  If you would like 10% off your ticket please see https://www.tobaccofactorytheatres.com/artist-membership/ for information about how to sign up to the Tobacco Factory Theatres Artist Membership scheme.

Count me in!   To register your interest in attending the event please email chloe.masterton@gmail.com and include a brief summary of your work and what it is that you are looking for in a collaborator. If you consider yourself to be both a writer and a director please state in which capacity you’d like to attend. Please note that due to the nature of the workshop we will need an equal number of writers and directors which may mean that we cannot accommodate everyone.
