The New Room / John Wesley’s Chapel is a beautiful 18th century building in the centre of Broadmead. Built to offer a space for reflection, study, refuge, education and community support, to this day the chapel provides a space where the local community can come together. In 2017 a new Visitors’ Centre was opened including a refurbished museum, atrium space, education room, library and cafe.

The chapel has been used as a performance space for small-scale productions, recitals, choirs, workshops, as well as art exhibitions.  We also have access to a courtyard space which gives on to the pedestrian side of Broadmead which is available.
