Paperbark Theatre Company formed in 2013 to produce bring new and exciting theatre works to Bristol, the UK and international audiences with a distinct Australian flavour.

Formed in 2013 by Australian graduates of the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School Shaelee Rooke and Oliver de Rohan, Peperbark Theatre aim to bring new theatre onto the Bristol, UK and international scene with a distinct Australian flavour.

Their first production will be the UK premier of Vivienne Walshe’s Griffin Award winning play, “This is Where We Live” at the Alma Tavern Theatre Feb 9-12. “This is Where We Live” will be directed by Bristol Old Vic Theatre School graduate Alec Fellows-Bennett.
