Our Work

Theatre Orchard is North Somerset’s arts development charity, dedicated to transforming the region into a place that performs! We tour unforgettable live theatre to a host of surprising spaces and places: from historic houses to village halls; from woodland glades to farmyards; supporting a nationwide network of touring performance.

We are equally passionate about developing inspiring arts projects with local communities that keep the creative lifeblood of the whole region flowing.  If you live in North Somerset and would like to see, take part in or support The Theatre Orchard, we would love to hear from you.

Touring North Somerset Monday 11- Thursday 21 March 2013. The Theatre Orchard and Living Spit present a new pub show for North Somerset.rnrn“There are things you need to know about this tale we’re going to tell, rnrnThere’s two brothers and some treasure and all does not go well.”rnrnNature’s bounty and man’s greed go head to head in this anarchic tale of two brothers that whips us from subterranean murder plots to golden apple boughs in the blink of an eye – or the pluck of a bow.rnrnBrewed especially for North Somerset pubs, In Cider Story is an original mix of live music and jaw dropping verse – that more or less rhymes, for better or worse. Staggering mischievously from its roots in traditional Somerset folk tales, here’s a story that promises a great night out down your local.rnrnFor one night only, pubs hosts this gem of a show, starring ‘the adorable Howard Coggins’ (Independent) and ‘standout Stuart McLoughlin’ (What’s on Stage), both actors rolling in from a five star run of Peter Pan at the Bristol Old Vic.
