This is a place where anything can happen. Where fresh nutritious performance is premier, where arts cuts don’t stop the passion, and where the people of Bristol can experience the thrill of live performance.
The Wardrobe Theatre is a performance space which opened in May 2011 above The White Bear pub on St Michael’s Hill providing a mix of theatre, comedy and regular local nights. The Wardrobe Theatre is run on a voluntary basis by a team of experienced theatre producers across Bristol who are willing to put in the hours to make something special. The venue is now moving to new premises in Old Market in collaboration with the team behind The Canteen and No1 Harbourside, due to open December 2015.
The focus of the venue is:
1. To programme exciting, diverse events and not be afraid to take risks
2. To support up-and-coming companies in the region
3. To remain accessible and affordable for audiences
