My name is Annette Sloly and I am a Registered Clinical Hypnotherapist BA Hons. DHP HPD CNHC AfSFH MNCH(Reg). MNCP (Accred.) practising Clinical Hypnotherapy in Bristol. I have ten years of experience in coaching, mentoring and Clinical Hypnotherapy; coupled with a lifelong personal interest in mindfulness meditation, a rich performing arts history, and corporate experience heading up teams in production and project management. This multi-faceted experience has helped me hone my approach: a synthesis of therapeutic disciplines that informs and supports my work – with everyone from undergraduates suffering from exam anxiety and professionals struggling to manage stress, to world-class artists and actors looking to improve their performance.

Annette BA Hons. DHP HPD CNHC AfSFH MNCH(Reg). holds the Clinical Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma (HPD) (CPHT), Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (DSFH) and the Diploma in Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy (DHP) from the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH) – the Gold Standard in clinical hypnotherapy practice.
Annette is a member of the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Practitioners Council which is the body that GPs and health professionals refer to. She is a member of the National Council of Hypnotherapists, and the Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy Annette holds an Enhanced DBS certificate. She is committed to an on-going programme of continued professional development, understanding and applying the latest research in anxiety, mindfulness, solution focused hypnotherapy and neuroscience.
Annette grew up in London. With a rich history in performance, she worked in the arts performing professionally as well as heading up Production departments in Publishing and then TV & Video Production, later working at a leading UK acting school.Following family trauma in her early teens, Annette experienced episodes of anxiety and depression and turned to meditation, yoga, and hypnotherapy to help. Annette holds a BA Hons in Drama and English Literature (University of Kent), and is a classically trained Violinist. She has extensive experience in mindfulness meditation deepening her awareness through regular practice, retreats and workshops, having practised meditation for 16 years. Annette enjoys Bhakti Yoga, the films of Wes Anderson, going to the theatre, being on, or near, the sea, and teaching her son how to sing.
