I am originally from Brazil, where my studies in theatre, Brazilian dance and clowning started. I came to the UK to further my studies in the art of clowning where I trained with Nose to Nose, Tamala, Franki Anderson, The Original Spinners and Gerry Flanagan. Formal training in contemporary circus and physical theatre was undertaken at Circomedia and I studied alternative therapies elsewhere, which includes Co-Counselling, Dramatherapy and Voice Dialogue (applies to the theory of psychiatry of selves). I currently give workshops, perform and take part in other projects, as well as undertaking a BSc degree in Psychology with Counselling. I am constantly working towards combining the art of clowning with the art of therapy.

I am originally from Brazil where, in 2005, I started my studies in theatre, Brazilian dances and clowning. I came to the UK in 2011 and now live in Bristol where I am constantly studying more about the art of clowning and trying to find a way to combine this art with the art of therapy.

I trained with Nose to Nose, Franki Anderson, Gerry Flanagan. I also trained contemporary circus and physical theatre at Circomedia.

I’ve been giving workshops for all ages in Brazil, Germany, Switzerland and England.
To help with therapy aspect, I studied Co-Counselling, Dramatherapy and Voice Dialogue (a method that applies to the theory of psychiatry of selves.). I am currently undertaking a degree in BSc Psychology with Counselling.

I am part of the group “The Original Spinners”, a clown inspired dance improvisation collective I have volunteered at Merlin Housing Society, where I brought music to play with them and gave many chair based exercise classes to help with their fitness. I have also volunteered at Leonard Cheshire Disability, by helping with the music/dance therapy group.

In January 2016 I was awarded Arts Council funding to further develop my solo clown show Cinco Coisas. This show in tour around the South West until July when I fly to Brazil to tour it there.

“Cinco Coisas” is a solo clown show inspired by the five basic developmental needs of a child – Place, Nurturing, Support, Protection and Limitation. Through dance, play, clowning and improvisation it proposes to lead the audience on a purely human experience.rnA playful, poignant and inspiring show where two opposing viewpoints, but also complementary, are presented by a single actress, who covers the polarities through the staging of a clown and a narrator.rnThe show aims to highlight the human vulnerability of the spectator existent since childhood, but doing so in a playful and entertaining way, as is characteristic of the clown. rn
