Brian is a playwright and scriptwriter originally from Scotland and now based in Bristol. His plays have been performed in London, Bristol, Bath, Liverpool and Manchester.

His latest production, Timeless  was performed in London in 2018. Brian also writes radio plays and had an Afternoon Drama The Love Test on BBC R4 in Feb 2019. 

  • He was shortlisted for the Bread and Roses Playwriting Award in 2017 for his full length play The Spare Room

  • His play Welcome To Paradise Road won Best Script in Festival in 2016 at the Page to Stage Theatre Festival in Liverpool

  • He was shortlisted for the Bread and Roses Playwriting Award in 2015 for Welcome To Paradise Road

  • He was a winner of the British Theatre Challenge, an international one-act play competition, in 2014 for The Proposition
