Bristol based Actor and Director.

Associate director of Hammerpuzzle Theatre company. Acting credits include work with the RSC, Royal Exchange, New Vic Theatre, Theatre by the lake, York Theatre Royal, Liverpool Everyman, Stephen Joseph Theatre Scarborough etc.

Directing work includes productions of ‘Twelfth Night, The Comedy of Errors, Midsummer Nights Dream’. Most recently, ‘king john’ for Hammerpuzzle Theatre Co and ‘The Dogs of War’ for the Theatre Royal Bath.

Graduating from LIPA in 2008 with a first class degree in acting, Bryn now works both as an actor and as a director.

The Seven Ages of Poetry (RSC), Echoes (Liverpool Everyman), The Nutcracker Prince (Stephen Joseph Theatre), A Christmas Carol (New Vic), As You Like It (Royal Exchange), The mystery of Jack and the clones of chaos (Pilot Theatre – international tour), Romeo and Juliet (Pilot Theatre/York Theatre Royal UK Tour),Little Hope, The Adventures of Pinocchio and The Tempest (ThePoint Theatre, Eastleigh) as well as several rehearsed readings and development projects both in this country and abroad.

As a director:

Bryn founded ‘Improbable Fiction’ in 2010, for whom he has directed The Tale of the Stolen Heart andThe Stones of Elisard. He is an Associate Director of Sell a Door Theatre company, recently directingTwelfth Night and The Comedy of Errors (Greenwich Playhouse, London) and a UK tour of A Midsummer Nights Dream. He is Associate Director of Just Jones& currently working on their adaptation of Ibsen’s Enemy of the people. He is also working on ‘Did my heart love till now?’ for the Bristol Shakespeare Festival.

Bryn leads workshops for a variety of theatre companies; (Norwich Playhouse, Royal Exchange, Pilot Theatre Co, Freshwater Theatre Co, Hammerpuzzle). In 2012 he was a part time lecturer in drama studies at Bath Spa University, and he lectures in Classical Acting, once a year, at a Norwegian Drama Schhol.
