I create Performance in public places which map and respond to sensory, political and social experiences lived, imagined, performed and recorded in those spaces.
My work often invites participation from audiences either within the process or at an event. I am currently exploring making performance in more private and domestic places and how I might share this with a public audience.
I have a Masters degree in Devised Theatre and a BA in Theatre from Dartington College of Arts
I have worked as a Community Theatre Director and Socially Engaged Live Artist for the last 15 years. I have Directed over 30 theatre shows including large scale community plays, curriculum work in schools and youth theatre shows. During that time I have really enjoyed my work with young people and adults with learning difficulties. I have a particular interest in Site-specific projects and when I have opportunities for research and development I can often be found working outdoors exploring my creative relationship with other living organisms.
