My name is Hari and I have previous experience directing, writing and acting in two original productions that my team and I were able to hold at The Lyceum Theatre in London’s West End. During this process, I directly managed a cast of over 130 members (including singers, dancers, a live orchestra, musicians and technical crew for sound, lighting and projections).

Previous to these shows, I have assisted backstage at a number of amateur musicals and also performed an original production at The Royal Egg Theatre in Bath, as part of my Theatre Studies course with my sixth form.

I am currently looking forward to pursuing new and exciting ventures in acting, writing and directing. In particular, I’d like to work with new people for lighting, sound, camerawork and more!

My name is Hari and I’m an actor, writer and director based in Bristol. The majority of my experience has been in theatre, including directing, writing and performing in my own original musical productions at the Lyceum Theatre in London and the Royal Egg Theatre in Bath.

I recently made a short film, Durga’s Story, which was a part of the Asian Arts Agency’s DESH Project and subsequently on exhibiton at the M Shed and touring Plymouth in February 2014.

I’m currently trying to keep up my involvement with writing and performing in theatre, whilst learning more about filmmaking.

If you are interested and would like to collaborate on something, please do get in touch.

I wrote, directed and performed in an original production called ‘Sugar Loss’ which was held at The Egg Theatre in Bath.rnrnThe story was set in the 1920s, focusing on the disappearance of a leading Hollywood starlet (‘Sugar’) who ran away from her largest ever performance to reunite with her disgruntled husband.rnrnThe play was a comedy based around the strong archetypal characters found in old 1920s movies, similar to a game of Cluedo. I played an eccentric Forensics professor, teaming with a bumbling and clueless Police Officer to try and solve the mystery of the missing Sugar.rnrnThe show was judged by a number of panelists who all remarked on the high quality of the performances and the dialogue written.rn
