Until I joined the Tobacco Factory writer’s Forum, I had been struggling alone with my work, writing in isolation and without the communion with actors, directors and producers which is vital to the creation of well rounded, solid work.
A play is only half a thing without the influence and scrutiny of others. It’s easy to write a script at a desk. Much harder and more rewarding is creating a piece of work with others.
What my work needs most is company, and that’s what I’m looking for.
