I am a Director-Composer, Vocal Practitioner and Artistic Director of the Jennifer Bell company, specialising in singing, song cycles and site-specific performance.

I am interested in stories and soundscapes. My songs are often made-up stories, but I also like real ones, inspired by real people.

I am currently working on WATER COOLER SONGS, an office-based a-cappella song cycle, featuring my ensemble, The Beautiful Machine. I am also working with Improbable, Bodies in Flight and The Plasticine Men.
