I am a physical theatre practitioner based in Bristol. I trained at Circomedia and graduated in May 2012 where I specialised in Physical Theatre and duo-acrobalance.

A little about me:
Katie’s background stems from dance and since training at Circomedia in Bristol she has developed a passion for physical theatre and contemporary circus.

This bold mix of skills creates daring and intuitive work covering a range of styles including cabaret, site specific and instillations as well as providing opportunities for exciting theatre and circus workshops. Katie, along with her acrobatics partner, can also provide a range of stunning acro-balance routines to suit any occasion as well as specially created acts on request for a classy edge to any event.

Katie trained for an FDA in Contemporary Circus and Physical Theatre at Circomedia, Bristol from 2010-2012. Under the tuition of Bim Mason she developed a love for physical theatre, specifically ensemble devising and work which has a relevant and sometimes cutting edge to it. Her main circus skills are physical theatre and duo acro-balance but she can also unicycle and juggle. Katie’s backgroundstems from dance including contemporary, ballet, tap and jazz, plus some musical theatre helping Katie be confident using her voice. Relevant skills include experience teaching dance and circus workshops as well as having a driving license and car.
