Natasha Fewings

I have a diverse movement experience including african, ballet, contemporary, capoeira, flamenco and samba. I have experience choreographing and performing with artists from other disciplines including film artists and circus performers. I sing and write my own songs and have international teaching experience.

I trained at NSCD gaining a first class honors degree, continued post graduate training at LSCD performing with EDge company working with Hofesh Schecter, Maressa von Stockert, Johnathan Lunn and Charles Linehan and others touring internationally.

My passion for studying dance with masters of their form has seen me travel to numerous places around the world, including New York, Berlin, France, Denmark, Vienna (Impulstanz Festival), Tanzania, Granada, and New Zealand to improve my knowledge and skills. My movement vocabulary and experience includes: African, Ballet, Break Dancing, Butoh, Contact Improvisation, Contemporary, Flamenco, Hip Hop, Jazz, Middle Eastern, Samba and Salsa.

Similarly in my curiosity to develop and integrate other creative skills, I have acquired experience of African and Brazilian Drum and Song, Capoeira Angola, Drama and Theatrical Skills, Singing/ Voice work including writing and performing with bands in Denmark, Germany and Bristol, Stilt Walking, Static Trapeze, Fire Pio and Film Making which have all enriched my work and performance.

I have collaborated and worked with various professional artists from diverse disciplines, pushing the boundaries of innovative dance performance including circus performers, actors, dancers, film artists, photographers and various world musicians.
