I work as a musician and a composer and as an Artist/Musician in education.
I play accordion and tuba, solo and in various ensembles.
I recently have composed music for Babigloo, a company working with babies and their parents. I am currently performing with Ramshacklicious in Band At The End OF The World, for which I wrote additional music.
I also have performed for the opening of the artist’s rooms at Battersea Arts Centre and performed playing the tuba and accordion for Wildworks in “100, The Day Our World Changed” at the Lost Gardens of Heligan.
I performed and wrote the music for “The Tragic and Disturbing Tale of Little Lupin”. I have co-run a cabaret event, Kazaam, writing music for the house band.

“The highlight of the night is the musical score, which has been devised by cast member Richard Hughes; he provides accompaniment using a variety of instruments, including an accordion, tuba and even two pairs of scissors.
I have also worked as Artist In Residence in a St Paul’s Nursery School and Children’s Centrewhere I offer creative provocation and support, encourage and extend children’s explorations.
I am working on a project looking how creative process and narratives can support aspects of speech and language, with a particular focus with boys, especially those who have English as an adittional language.
