Artistic Director of The Plasticine Men

Simon is a director and theatre-maker based in Bristol. He is Artistic Director of The Plasticine Men (Keepers, There Shall Be Fireworks) and works as a director, dramaturg and facilitator with other artists and companies including Fine Chisel, Little Soldier, Pangottic, Philippa Hambly, and Splash & Ripple. Simon was a co-founder of Mufti Games (Massive Battleships and L_ve Hangman), and established and co-ordinated the peer-led development workshop series, The Practicing Ensemble Class (PE Class).

As well as producing all The Plasticine Men’s work to date, Simon has also worked as a Producer with Theatre Bristol and BE FESTIVAL, a Relationship Manager with Arts Council England, a Centre Director for the Arvon Foundation, and established the PILOT Nights scheme in the Midlands.
