Sue Pearce

Sue trained at Central School of Art and Design. After winning an Arts Council trainee design bursary and working for a year at the Manchester Royal Exchange and Contact Theatre Sue was based in the North West for 15 years. Her work includes young writers festivals (Liverpool Playhouse and Royal Court Upstairs), schools tours and national tours

Sue trained at Central School of Art and Design. After winning an Arts Council trainee design bursary she was seconded to The Manchester Royal Exchange and Contact Theatre and then worked as a freelance designer based in the North West for 15 years. Her work includes young writer’s festivals (Royal Court Upstairs, Liverpool Playhouse), schools tours and national tours.

Recent designs for the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School were ‘The Winter’s Tale’ at the Tobacco Factory, two Nativity plays which toured primary schools and ‘The Love of the Nightingale’ at Circomedia.

Sue works part time as the set design tutor in the drama department at Bristol University.
