Tilly Webber Dance Artist

Tilly started her training at The Arts Educational School, Tring and then went on to attain her BA Hons at London Contemporary Dance School , where she worked with choreographers Hofesh Schecter, Richard Alston and Kerry Nicholls. When leaving she started work with Micheal Clarke Dance Company and since then has worked extensively with numerous companies, choreographers and directors, touring nationally and internationally. These include Marc Brew Company, Rosie Kay Dance Company, Lailla Diallo, Lorana Randi, Dam Van Hughn, Alleta Collins ,Dan Canham’s company StillHouse, to name but a few. Alongside this she has performed in operas, music videos and independent film projects, which ultimately has determined a varied career in performance. This year she has been working in Ireland with Megan Kennedy from Junk Ensmeble and then re-joined Dan Canham and his company StillHouse this spring on the making and touring of his new piece ‘Of Riders And Running Horses’ . It will tour this autumn and be part of Dance Umbrella 2015. Tilly is also part of this years ‘Performance Mentoring Programme ‘ with KND ( Kerry Nicholls) . She has taught workshops, classes throughout her career and facilitated auditions abroad.

As a performer she is interested in a variety of performance methods, techniques, improvisation, yoga, use of voice and to be part of topics that are current, have something to say and a story to tell.
