Alongside our free bespoke 1:1 support,  workshops and training opportunities we are able to provide coaching and mentoring as part of our paid for services package. This is open to anyone who is interested in using these distinctive practices to develop and reflect.

During the pandemic we delivered coaching to 11 Cultural Leaders across the South West offering them time and space away from their work. We recognised that arts and cultural leaders were under enormous pressure to get the extraordinary moment ‘right’. We wanted to offer an alternative to being in silo or operating in a fractious environment and turning it into a listening one. This coaching was led by a previous Artist Support Activist, Alex Murdoch who is an accredited coach. Here’s some words from Alex on the benefits of coaching –

‘Coaching is a listening and questioning practice. It is not like mentoring, it does not offer advice or solutions – the learning is at the hands of the coachee – the only person with a unique understanding of the situation. This can be empowering and develops a resourceful mindset which can offer the opportunity for transformation – or at least to gain clarity and get unstuck.’

We can offer a single introductory session or a series of sessions. Please e-mail for more information.
