Physical description:

Creative Workspace is ideal for theatre rehearsals and workshops. From time to time it also hosts family theatre, It is a community interest venture with profits from hire being returned to run community arts events.

Power Supply:

Several power sockets on three of the four main studio walls.

Power and Lighting Details:

Standard domestic suspended lighting currently.

Venue holds small range of touring theatre lights. Please discuss this at point of booking if you require use of the theatre lights.

Sound Equipment:

PA, microphone.

Details of Sound Spill:

The venue is not in an immediate residential area. There will be a cafe next to the rehearsal space and some sound may spill from the rehearsal space to the cafe and vice versa, but this rarely presents a problem. There is a separate small meeting room (3m x 3m) which is self-contained and would be suitable for recording music/voice.

Rigging Information:

No overhead rigging. Theatre lights when in use are mounted on portable T-bars.

Blackout Details:

From September 2018 onwards we will be able to black out the space for rehearsals needing to use projection.
