Kuumba is a community resource. Its mission is to support and develop cultural, artistic and educational events and workshops, which reflect the history and heritage of African and African Caribbean people. Kuumba runs an African Caribbean Arts & Cultural Programme and also hires out the space to outside users. The Sanga Hall is a medium sized hall with a large stage made up of 8’x4′ squares on a steel deck. The stage could be dismantled but tends to stay in place.
