Theatre Shop Clevedon is, as you might expect, a theatre in a shop.   Once the shop was empty but now it’s filled with energy and laughter on a regular basis.  This small but perfectly formed venue began life as a short-term pop-up, conceived to bring something new to the high street.    Now in its fifth-year of trading, Theatre Shop retains an informal vibe alongside a commitment to presenting an ambitious programme of professional performance.

Theatre Shop is managed by a Community Interest Company (the Theatre Shop CIC)  run by a group of of volunteers and locally based theatre company Living Spit whose wares can often be sampled on the Shop floor. Grab a locally-made beverage from our hand-crafted bar – sit back and swill back your culture in relaxed fashion.
