It’s been pretty busy in the world of Theatre Bristol over the last few weeks so here’s a quick update including details of To You To Me 6 and our new office.
To You To Me 6 is the latest in our regular ‘mini’ open space meetings where we invite people to let us know what they’re up to, we can say what we’re up to and we can all discuss what we’re not up to but think we ought to be. We’ll also be using this one to ask the dance community to feedback on the Creative Producer for Dance post which is coming to an end.
To You To Me 6 is on 27th September from 6pm-9pm at Hamilton House. It will be facilitated by Seth Honnor an you can read more and book your free space here.
After 3 years of being hosted by Bristol Old Vic (and with many thanks to them) we have now moved into a great new space at the Fire Station on York Road. There are still a few finishing touches to be done but we’ll look forward to welcoming you to the office in a couple of weeks. At the moment there is no phone number, we’ll have it set up very soon but in the meantime you can contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org and we can call you back.
Exciting news for TB; Tanuja, one of our Executive Producers has been selected to take part in the British Council’s new UK-Korea Arts Exchange Programme. She’ll be off to Korea in October with a view to building links and exchange opportunities with Korean artists and producers.
Finally as you may already know Katie Keeler is now back from maternity leave, Simon Day our new Artist Support Producer is now in post and Mel Scaffold our Company Producer has been with us since the beginning of August. Mel, Simon and the whole team will be a To You To Me on 27th, we hope to see you there.
