What Works Wales?
Beth sy’n gweithio, Gymru?
In 2016 Theatre Bristol were commissioned by the Arts Council of Wales to carry out research into the need, potential and process for establishing producing hubs in Wales. We carried out six months of in depth research and analysis with theatremakers across the country and beyond.
This was the invitation we sent to engage people in the process:
- How do you make brilliant quality live performance for audiences?
Sut mae creu perfformiadau byw o safon wych i gynulleidfaoedd?
- What processes work well for you and the sector?
Pa brosesau sy’n gweithio’n dda i chi a’r sector?
- What would you like to see change in the next 10 years to make it better?
Beth yr hoffech ei weld yn newid yn y 10 mlynedd nesaf i wneud pethau’n well?
We talked to producers and makers of all kinds to discover, dream about and design brilliant ways of working. We held conversations across the country and topped it all off with a big ‘What Works Wales’ Creative Gathering in November 2016.
We are delighted to announce that the report has now been published. It shares loads of Theatre Bristol’s thinking and learning about producing, grounded in the many years we’ve spent working with artists and organisations.
We’d love for you to see it. Take a look here: http://www.arts.wales/137698
