Applying to the Arts Council:
An unofficial guide for theatre makers
One of our most used resources is the Unofficial Guide to Grants for the Arts, created by Simon Day for Theatre Bristol. It’s a great first port of call for anyone considering submitting an application to that programme – have a read of it before you start.
The Grants for the Arts funding programme has been closed and replaced with a new open access funding programme called National Lottery Project Grants. Simon’s advice remains a hugely relevant and helpful document to help you write your application without losing a grip on the heart of your project.
NB: the guide is hosted on www.issuu.com. You can view and share below. To download the pdf. file you will need to create a (free) Issuu profile.
